Caring for your 3D-printed décor, season to season
PLA is tougher than people expect and more heat-sensitive than they'd guess. A few habits keep a piece looking new for years.

Everyday cleaning
A dry or slightly damp cloth handles dust on any piece. Avoid soaking a lamp or clock — the electronics and movement inside aren't meant to get wet, even though the printed body itself is fine near moisture.
Heat and direct sun
PLA is a plant-based plastic, and like most plastics it softens with sustained heat — above roughly 50°C, which a windowsill in direct summer sun can reach. Keep pieces a little back from the glass, and away from heaters and stovetops, and they'll hold their shape indefinitely.
Vases specifically: use the insert
Every VeeGifts vase ships with a separate watertight insert. Pour water into the insert, never directly into the printed vessel — the outer form is sculptural, not sealed, and the insert is what keeps stems fresh without risking the piece around it.
